Quotes attributable to Queensland Country Bank Stadium Venue General Manager Tom Kimball

“We’re pumped to host P!NK and of course we’ve gone all out with the theme, from the high-vis worker vests to the venue logo, pink walls, pink fencing mesh and even in the stadium precinct we have pink planter boxes and special pink floor decals.

“Around 67 trucks worth of steel and production supplies have arrived, and around 150 workers are getting to work building the stage and laying the flooring, which will take five days to complete.

“Catering supplies have already begun arriving, with the venue expecting to sell around 15,000 glasses of wine, up to 10,000 cans of Pink Gin and Soda, 4,000 bags of chips and I’m told fans can even look forward to pink popcorn, and pink hot-dogs!

“Around 1,500 staff will come together on the night to make the show happen, from catering, cleaning, security, ushers, ticketing, medical, police, and event operations, to ensure the event runs smoothly.

“We can’t wait to see fans this weekend, now is the time to check out our website to figure out transport, what to bring, where to find your gate and most importantly ensure you save your digital ticket to your digital wallet.”
