Changed Traffic Conditions
Typically during major events (i.e. sporting events and concerts) the following traffic changes will apply:
- Lowths Bridge will be closed to vehicles during events;
- Brodie Street becomes 'no left turn' from Boundary Street;
- Pride Close, Wally Tallis Way, Courage Street and Graham Murray Place are closed to public, private coaches, limosines, taxi's and rideshare traffic;
- Saunders Street and Dean Street (from Rooney Street to Palmer Street and Rooney Street to Morey Street) have changed parking conditions;
- Dean Street Car park will be closed for public parking;
- Electric scooter exclusion zone will be activated to prevent access to the immediate stadium area.

Queensland Country Bank Stadium operates a noise complaint hotline on event days. If you have any concerns, please call our reception on (07) 4722 7700.

Stadium Traffic Area and Resident Parking Permits
Townsville City Council has implemented a Regulated Parking Permit Scheme during certain events in Townsville in ensure residents are still able to park on their streets during events and to help minimise the impact event patrons have on surrounding suburbs.
