Ticketing for this game will be limited due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, and the available allocation will be reserved for North Queensland Cowboys members, corporate partners and sponsors. Members will be contacted directly by the Club about the process for securing tickets for the event.
In line with the Venue’s approved Covid Safe Plan, your game day experience is going to look different and it is very important that spectators inform themselves as to what to expect, changed conditions of entry and their responsibilities to ensure a safe environment.

HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
Please check with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys directly for more information around how tickets will be allocated. There will be no public tickets sold for this event.
HOW IS QUEENSLAND COUNTRY BANK STADIUM REDUCING RISK?
Extra cleaning and sanitisation pre, during and post event with a focus on high traffic areas like hand-rails
Increased health and hygiene signage
Patrons displaying COVID-19 symptoms (cough, sore throat, shortness in breath) will not be permitted
Socially-distanced ‘checkerboard’ seating plans (with groups of patrons to be seated in alternate rows, socially distanced from other groups)
Segmented seating zones (with dedicated staff, food and beverage and amenities to reduce contact and congestion points)
Cashless payments for food and beverage purchase
Some activations such as player autographs and amusements will be paused to ensure social distancing requirements are met
Ticketing system which supports contact tracing
WHAT CAN I DO TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL RETURN?
Follow signage, sit in your designated seat and follow the advice of staff
Wash your hands or use sanitiser regularly
Cough or sneeze into your elbow and dispose of tissues responsibly
Stay home if you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone who has felt unwell in the past 2 weeks

IS PUBLIC TRANSPORT STILL AVAILABLE?
There is no dedicated event public transport available for this event. This includes the shuttle bus from the Showgrounds.
AM I ABLE TO PARK AT THE VENUE?
- Ticket holders for this event are encouraged to make use of the available parking in the town centre.
- There is no parking available at Dean Street car park.
HAVE THERE BEEN ANY CHANGES TO THE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY?
The venue’s conditions of entry have changed to reflect the covid environment. Ticket holders will not be able to enter the venue if they:
Display any COVID-19 symptoms (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath)
Have returned from overseas in the last 14 days
Been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the last 14 days?

CAN WE USE OUR COWBOYS MEMBERSHIP CARD TO ENTER THE VENUE?
No, all Cowboys Membership cards have been deactivated for this event and you will need to use the new ticket issued to your mobile phone by the membership team.
HOW DO I USE MY MOBILE PHONE TO ENTER THE VENUE?
Your mobile ticket will have a QR code which can be scanned at the turnstiles or entry like a paper ticket. Please download your ticket prior to arriving at the venue and have it ready to as you approach the entry. The background light on your mobile phone should be turned up high to make it easier for your ticket to be scanned.
HOW DO I FIND MY GATE/SEAT INFORMATION?
Ticket holders are encourage to download their ticket prior to arrival which allows you to find 4 bits of key information;
Gate – Enter via this gate to ensure the shortest possible route to your seat.
Aisle – The aisle directs you to the set of stairs you need to access to get to your seats. Please don’t confuse the BAY reference with your AISLE reference.
Row – The row your seats are located in
Seat – The number of your seat/s
CAN I BRING MY BAG INTO THE VENUE?
Yes however your bag needs to be smaller than an A3 piece of paper. The stadium also encourages patrons to leave all bags at home where possible to ensure a speedy entry into the venue.
CAN I CLOAK ITEMS?
Under the venue’s COVID Safe Plan, cloaking rooms will not be operating at this event.
CAN I STILL BUY FOOD AND DRINKS AT QUEENSLAND COUNTRY BANK STADIUM?
Food and drinks will still be available to purchase at the game, though a limited menu will be available to reduce queue times.
All food and drinks must be consumed in your seat. Patrons will not be able to linger on concourses or remain standing whilst consuming food or beverages.
WILL YOU BE ACCEPTING CASH?
The food and beverage outlets will be running a cashless operation for this event. All outlets will be accepting card payments only.
WHY AREN’T THE WATER BUBBLERS IN USE?
Due to the touch points and communal nature of the bubblers, it is a condition under the venue COVID Safe Plan that water points aren’t accessible. Under the venue’s terms and conditions, fans are allowed to bring sealed bottles of water up to 1.25L into the venue.
CAN I PURCHASE MERCHANDISE AT THE VENUE?
Under the venue’s COVID Safe Plan, merchandise is unfortunately unable to be sold for this event. Cowboys merchandise is still available to purchase online or via the Cowboys Leagues Club Store.
CAN I LEAVE THE VENUE TO SMOKE?
There will be no passouts available for this event, to reduce the movement of people around the venue. Once you leave the venue, you will be unable to return.

Free Event Buses
There is no dedicated event public transport available for this NRL event - this includes Park and Ride from Townsville Showgrounds.
Taxi and Rideshare
Taxi zone at Dean Street adjacent to Central Park
Rideshare zone at Morey Street or Flinders Street near Little Fletcher Street
Private courtesy bus pick up and drop off is in the Dean Street carpark
Drop off zones are located at Morey Street and Flinders Street
Road closures and changed traffic conditions will be in place from mid-afternoon, please utilise the specified drop off zones
Please note there is NO public parking at the venue.
Townsville CBD Parking - Ample parking is available in the Townsville CBD and surrounding suburbs. Free parking has finished in the CBD so please ensure you check local signage.
Stadium Traffic Restrictions - Not enforced for this event.
Please be patient and exercise caution when driving in and around the Stadium precinct pre, post and during events as large numbers of pedestrians will be present and changed traffic conditions will be in place.
Allocation within the venue’s accessible car park has been exhausted for this event.
A dedicated accessibility zone for pick up and drop off is located on Pride Close at the southern entrance to the stadium.
Coaches and Mini Buses
Courtesy and private buses (no larger than 22 seats) are able to drop off in the Dean St Car Park.
Road Closures and Changed Traffic Conditions
Lowths Bridge (Rooney Street) will be closed from 3pm for this event until 90min after the event
Areas on Saunders St and Boundary Street around the stadium will be no right turn pre, post and during the event

Accessible Seating and Tickets
For this event, there will be no public tickets sold. Please check with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys if you are a member that has accessible seating for more information around how tickets will be allocated.
Accessible Car Parking and Drop Off Options
People in wheelchairs – Please contact NQ Cowboys for on-site parking for those patrons in wheelchairs.
Accessibility drop off – the is a dedicated accessibility zone for drop off and pick up on Pride Close immediately in front of the Stadium’s southern entrance.
Gates and Entrances
Gate A (the northern entry) has an accessible ramp into the stadium which provides patrons with 360° access around Level 1 where food, toilets and other amenities are located. Gate E (Southern entrance) and Gate G (Western entry/ corporate and event day function entrance) have lift access to Level 1.
Check your ticket to locate the best entry point for your seat.
Toilets and Changing Facilities
Accessible toilets are located throughout the stadium. In general public areas these are accessed from Level 1, however accessible toilets are available for guests in the corporate areas also.
An accredited Changing Places facility is located on the North West corner of Level 1 and includes a full-sized change table, ceiling hoist and shower.
